Input channels may be individually configured to measure thermocouple, RTD, voltage / millivolts, milliamps, discrete status, pulses (count and frequency) or position. The thermocouple CJC connector (IOPK-ACJC-DL) has an integrated Pt-100 sensor for cold junction temperature measurement and signal compensation. A comprehensive library of mathematical and Boolean functions is provided allowing user-defined algorithms to be created and the results logged.

The front panel "SELECT" switch works with the LCD display to allow the entry or modification of a number of different modes and functions including scan rate and averaging time, offset or gain that is to be applied to measured values, date / time and baud rates. Two LED's, "RUN" and "ERR", indicate the Data Logger's operating status. Each digital I/O channel has a yellow LED indicating its signal level.

The companion low-cost, Windows®-based configuration and data acquisition software packages (IOPK-ICP and IOPK-LOG1) are compatible with the full line of high-performance C-Series I/O modules. In addition to retrieving real-time and historical data from the Data Logger, data may be retrieved in real-time from any C-Series analog, discrete, and combination I/O block for display on a videographic chart and / or logging to disk. Logged data may exported to ASCII, MS-Excel®, or MS-Access® files.
