The VisiPak model V436 is a versatile, field configurable, AC Current and Voltage input LED indicator which provides a NEMA 4X water tight front panel that fits 1/8 DIN cutouts. The four visual setpoint alarms are standard and annunciated via individual front panel LEDs. Two form C relays are available as optional outputs for the first two setpoints. They can be configured as high or low, failsafe or non-failsafe. Each setpoint has a 100% adjustable deadband (or reset points) which can be effectively used in on/off control applications or as a latching alarms. An isolated 4-20mA transmitter output is also available as an option, with or without the two relays. The V436 accepts 50mV, 200mV, 2V, 20V, or 250VAC inputs and displays any engineering scale required, between 501 and + 199990 counts for the full-scale span. Current inputs up to 5A can be measured across a 0.1W shunt resistor (model C006) accessory. There is an isolated 24V excitation source to power the transmitter output. Field configuration of the input range, alarm function, and analog transmitter output scaling is quick and easy since only one button is required to toggle through the selections. The indicator is factory calibrated to rated accuracy but can be checked and adjusted in the field if necessary, using the same configuration button. A second front panel button is used for acknowledgement of alarms. This button can be pushed to unlatch or reset the optional output relay. For remote acknowledgement, terminals are provide to allow wiring of a switch to a different location. To prevent tampering and ensure safety a lockout jumper is used to limit access to the configuration button functions. When the lockout mode is enabled, only alarm setpoints and output scaling functions are displayed and they can not be altered without moving the lock jumper. |
